Since that is the normal behaviour and you haven't shown us what you are
doing to make the system so something else (probably you are explictly
referring to the whole document rather than the current node by selecting
using a path starting with /) it's rather hard to offer any help.
Also probably you don't want to be using for-each but rather
apply-templates.
