Subject: Re: [xsl] COUNT IN THE SAME STYLESHEET From: "J.Pietschmann" <j3322ptm@xxxxxxxx> Date: Sun, 01 Dec 2002 22:46:00 +0100 |
if i write a piece of code as:...
<xsl:number count="ms:node-set($cont)/PC/NOME"/>
it says: that there havde to be a NODE TEST and no a variable or a funcction!
Well, according to the spec the count attribute must have a match pattern as value. Try something like: <xsl:number value="count(ms:node-set($cont)/PC/NOME)"/>
<xsl:value-of select"$cont"> it stamp also ibm9 obm10 and the element "tag" go out! why this?
That's because xsl:value-of inserts the text content of the selected node set into the result tree. You'll probably want to use <xsl:copy-of select"$cont"/> instead. Get a good XSLT book and look up details about this topic there.
