Try using 'Ernst & Young' instead. James. -----Original Message----- From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Pierre Duhem Sent: 29 May 2002 13:42 To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [xsl] What is the problem with '&'? Hello, I have a program which produces xml files and get a problem: when I displaye the file in MSIE, I get an error where the '&' character appears, like in 'Ernst & Young' with a message about space being not allowed there. Should I escape this character? TIA. -- Best Regards Pierre Duhem Logiciels & Services Duhem, Paris (France) duhem@xxxxxxxxxxx XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
