Subject: Paul Slocum on G4TechTV From: "Lee Fastenau" <stella@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri, 10 Sep 2004 22:40:09 -0500 |
I caught Paul Slocum tonight on The Screensavers! Way to represent! For those that missed it or don't get G4TechTV, there's a small writeup on their site: http://www.g4techtv.com/screensavers/episodes/3459/Creating_Atari_2600_Homeb rew_Games.html The Atari 2600 stuff is about half way down the page. It says Paul claimed that his Marble Craze "was the first two-player game for the Atari 2600." But in the show Paul actually corrected Alex by saying it was the first Atari game to use two paddles per player. Kinda surprised nobody at G4TechTV caught that... I mean... anyone play COMBAT for crying out loud?! :) Still, it was a bit surreal and very cool to watch. Way to go, Paul! -Lee
