First off, I'm delighted to hear about the revival of The Dig. Although we've come some way in tutorials since then, with my own and Andrew's Atari Age forum, the Dig was a big help to me. On the other hand...it could really use a cleaning, or at least a marking of the really stuff egregiously ungood to use as a model... > On Sat, 6 Dec 2003, Glenn Saunders wrote: > > (The only thing it really doesn't do is attempt to thread the > > discussions. I know not all e-mail respects those fields. (Ok, I should say I know *my* crappy homebrew webmail doesn't). It might be easier just to throw out Re: and Aw: and [stella]s and then say, if it comes more than a month after the previous post w/ the same subject it's a new thread. Or, to simplify even further: don't really thread in tree format sort by date, but have a link that says "jump to next/prev post with (mostly) same subject line"... have a -- KirkIsrael@xxxxxxxxxxxxx http://kisrael.com "Wow.
