But for > some reason I > thought they used the ball to paint over them. ??? >From the three Activision games I've disassembled so far: - River Raid and Pitfall! are doing HMOVE in every scanline - Starmaster has a black background and doesn't use the very left part of the screen By patching an emulator (disabling the ball) it would be quite easy to find games which use the ball for painting over HMOVE blanks. But I bet, you won't find any ;-) Have fun!
