Subject: generating HTML Anchor link via XSL From: Eric Taylor <Eric.Taylor@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 27 Jul 2000 08:09:05 -0500 |
I'm unable to generate a simple HTML anchor link to via my XSL. (I'm rather a novice, and I'm assuming I'm missing something rather obvious.) Here's what I've done. > In my XML file, I have this: > > <link href="\path\filename.xml">link text</link> > > In my XSL, I have: > > <xsl:template match="link"> > <A href="{@href}"><xsl:value-of /></A> > </xsl:template> > > If I have make the XSL display the value of @href (i.e, <xsl:value-of > select="@href"/>) it displays the path correctly (and I've checked that > the file exists), but when I click on the link, I get "The page cannot be > displayed" message. > Can someone help me out? Thanks. Eric XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
